Djamila is a truly outstanding French singer. and chef.

She has lived in Devon for over 20 years  but has never lost a bit of her French passion for food and song

Toby Morgan, guitar, is a well-respected exponent of the Manouche style of guitar made famous by Django Reinhard in 1940's Paris.  Toby joined Affinitée in 2005  and has toured extensively with the group ever since. He also plays Gypsy Jazz with Appel Direct and teaches guitar at Dartington College of Arts.

Tim Heming is a highly versatile musician usually playing guitar with Affinitée, or sometimes double bass.  He is part of the Gypsy Jazz duo Appel Direct,  a regular member of world music band Signs of Life and a frequent member of Swervy World - the highly entertaining street band that brings cabaret to the  high street.

Basil Bunelik is an intelligent accordionist who shares his love for Edith Piaf with the French singer Djamila. So should the two remain unknown only because they do not reinvent the Piaf, but rather pay tribute to its repertoire in a sophisticated and serious way? If you discovered this duo with their interpretations of the chansons in a café or a small club, you would definitely be delighted. Djamila has this strong and deep warm voice, and Basil, as a master of chords, knows exactly how to accompany her to the best of his ability.. Very very nice.  SKUG musikcultur (translated )
